In honor of Hip Hop Appreciation week, I'll be posting a new album everyday (or at least attempting to. And, though KRS can be a bit self-involved for my taste:

...Atlanta has a week full of events showing the spiritual, creative and cultural diversity of Hip Hop, starting with a Pre-HHAW event on May 15th with, “Investing in Our Youth” Seminar at Forest Hills Academy. May 17th will officially begin HHAW 2009 with, “Food For The Spirit”- A Wholistic Hiphop Experience” at The Grounds Coffee House. Throughout the week, there will be activities for the whole family, the “Rhythm and Rhymes”, for children 3mths – 5yrs old; the “End Of The School Year Jam” for teenagers; the Hip Hop Walk to the Top of Stone Mountain; Sisters Unite in Hip Hop; one of the highlights will be the May 21st concert featuring KRS ONE, BuckShot, Killer Mike, Bone Crusher, Stacy Epps, Nappy Roots and many others at the Loft! There are several more HHAW engagements that will be announced at the kick-off Press Conference.

In Honor Of Cinco De Mayo: 24-Hour Sale @ BagHaus
One of my faves, Baghaus, is having a sale in honor of the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla. Not sure of the connection, but, I'll take it!
